Recap: A dope battle with a bit of a surprise ending as Danny Myers and Stack Almighty face off in this 3-rounder from Bloody Scene Battle League. For the first two rounds anyway, both Myers and Stack came hard with blistering mayhem, hardbody punchlines, boastful shiners, some piercing name flips (moreso from Danny) and in the case of Stack, a couple of spicy rebuttals to split things going into the 3rd round. Then we saw Danny leave Earth, dishing 4 straight fire rebuttals to start off his 3rd before spouting a slew of daunting gun bars, dicey 4-bar set-ups and searing punches to leave his opponent with little chance of overtaking him. Yet with Stack having proven himself to be highly formidable for two rounds, surely he had another round of spitfire bars in the holster ready to take Danny out and win this thing, right? Not so much. As after a solid start (with a couple of feelgood rebuts), Stack tags in one of his Zoo Faculty squad members to take over and for the most part finish his turn. And while the white boy was kinda nice with his punches, we ain’t about to give Stack credit for his man’s hard work, which in turn gives Danny the vic.
Verdict: Danny Myers (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Danny Myers – “I saw 810 Trap, I said damn ain’t no rules here, y’all murder rate is high…made me wanna move here!”
