Recap: Anyone who has ever followed Cityy Towers battle rap career would know what a strong puncher he is. But Towers’ penchant for a high punch-acumen can sometimes get watered down when he leans it too heavily or in this case against J. Murda, segues back to punching even upon dishing fiery displays of wit and/or hitting personals. It’s a slight weakness that Murda takes advantage of here what with a hilarious round 1 that made no apologies for being all personal, before mixing it up a little bit and splitting the latter rounds with a variety of hard street semantics, rich schemes and aggressive, hardbody punchlines/performance bars.
Verdict: J. Murda (W) 2-1
