Recap: Well, that was enlightening. In front of a Capital Battlegrounds audience that apparently didn’t get the memo on keeping quiet while the battlers rapped, Bonnie Godiva and OG Prama deliver a pretty heated (and lengthy) 1-rounder that saw Bonnie get extra personal with it (going after her opponent’s looks and even her kids with hardcore intensity), an OG Prana having to be calmed down on stage after literally wanting to fight her opponent in reaction to some of Bonnie’s more intimate disses (guess Prana didn’t get the other memo about this being battle rap) and Bonnie’s abused mug being printed on T-shirts for all to see during Prana’s turn. As for the match itself, while OG’s gritty raps, salacious personals and real street ethos made there mark from time to time and kept it competitive, the more consistently lit, personal/wordplay-heavy, aggressive, witty and sometimes downright just mean Bonnie took this one.
