Recap: Back from a short retirement, Nunn Nunn uses a more consistent pen, (“One shell, I’ll kill him, crazy as fuck, that’s one Buc [buck], like Smokey’s mom, I’m a make it enough!”) heavy-handed/versatile punchlines, steely mayhem and some tailor-made Cave Gang personals/name flips to beat back a cadence-lit and rapidly (“I said, you brought your bitch to jump Ave, my nigga that’s dead lame, lead bang, I’ll hit his shin like a bed frame!”) punch heavy (including a spitfire 2nd round), but slip-up prone Burke Bucs in what was otherwise a pretty solid battle from Smack/URL.
Verdict: Nunn Nunn (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Nunn Nunn – “But I get it, I’m white, I’m from the South, I live in a trailer, I can’t front for y’all, I am a redneck, with this rifle I could put Bucs head on a fucking wall!”
