Recap: Delivering a wide load of fiery (“All that plug talk where you stash the cocoa, that’s a nono, this Nut’s all cap with his cane (‘caine); Planters logo!”) punchlines, sizzling personals, witty barbs and piercing 4-bar set-ups/schemes, Charron would’ve won this battle against Geechi Gottti if he hadn’t done one thing wrong: rap for too damn long. Indeed, after edging a potent and spirited-on-both-sides 1st round, the Canadian battler’s penchant elongated turns would hurt him in the latter rounds even after an almost flawless and (“We breathe different these emcees different, you gang bang I’m rich our G’s different!”) spitfire 2nd round that didn’t look like it had a chance of being beaten until Geechi came through with is own stash of steady heat, rambunctious punches, lofty wordplay/personals and 3 dope (“You wanna hear about niggas who ain’t never been on the block, rappin’ ’bout things they ain’t never did on the block?, keep watchin’ King Of The Dot!”) rebuttals for the draw. And with Charron still ahead in the battle going into teh final round and kicking yet another a savvy, personal-heavy, witty and punch-heavy turn in the 3rd, Gotti’s ability to take it up another level with a couple of fiery rebuttals that along with a slightly condensed turn that was rich with haymakers as well as hardbody gun bars, stifling personals, quality freestyles and humorous darts, allows Geechi to edge the 3rd and make this one a debatable.
Verdict: TIE
