Recap: That “Pillow on the barrel, just to keep the baby quiet!” line by Ghostt was extra mean and the confident up-n-comer also impressed here with a boatload fly rebuttals, dope punchlines, an ability to freestyle, a gang of daunting gun bars and quality personals (against Trez as well as battlers within his home league). That said, another element of being a top tier vet is never taking your opponent for granted. And the Chef makes sure not to do so here, taking away any chance of an upset with his own barrage of spitfire rebuttals, fierce name flips, some fine wordplay, an armory of head-swinging gun bars and enough hard-hitting punchlines to take rounds 1 and 2 before his less punch-heavy, but more versatile opponent earned a debatable 3rd.
Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Chef Trez – “My dog’s say you got a thousand flips for the nigger’s name, I said shit I would have zero if his dumb ass ain’t pick the name!”
