Recap: A credit to Street Hymns’ creativity and dual pen game here as the ‘fake’ Charron he’d incorporate into his raps had me fooled at first when he first showed up at the door. Then too, Street’s Bible-laced wordplay and nifty/mocking personals were also on point. And while Charron’s just-waking-up, from-the-basement-peeking visuals doesn’t come close to competing with his opponent’s more neighborhood-friendly optics, bar-wise ‘Billy Pistols’ was all-in, using some ridiculous name flips and an ever-strong (“After this quarantine you know that I’ll rap harder, ‘cuz the game needs me more than I need a black barber!”) punch game to earn a draw in what turned to be a pretty dope 1-rounder from RBE.
Verdict: TIE
Favorite line: Street Hymns – “Man I got Quads, Quintuples, Sextuples, I done built a 4th wall more than Ted Pool!”
