Recap: A battle that epitomizes why you shouldn’t run with narratives, how a battler’s popularity can effect views from both his peers and the so-called ‘exprets’ in the battle rap blogger field AND why almost every URL/App vote result can’t be taken seriously, a prolific-punching, personal-lit and wordplay heavy at times Casey Jay edges rounds 1 and 2 of this Kings vs. Queens battle against Swamp for the win. And while Casey still gets the win here, judging from the reaction from nearly the entire battle community, you would’ve thought that Swamp got bodied as the South Carolina battler’s overall pimp stunting, sexual innuendo’s, witty personals, entertaining storytelling and boastful darts (which clearly got him round 3) just seemed to have gotten overlooked in a bout that was close throughout.
Verdict: Casey Jay (W) 2-1
