Recap: A couple of questionable moves in this battle between Jey The Nitewing and Th3 Saga. For instance, it seemed pretty lazy for Nitewing to run with a dated theme and dedicate an entire round (the 3rd) to his opponent’s past masturbation habits (then too, it’d be hard pressed for anyone to do anything better then what Chilla Jones did when it comes to that subject). And Saga, who seems to be having an identity crisis what with the ‘Sensai’-semantics and a severe lack of Christian-laced bars in this battle, while also choosing to forego displaying more of his witty side, despite it working well for him early in the 2nd round (which he edged). That said, outside of a dope 1st round by Nitewing, overall this battle was pretty monotonous and that says a lot considering what we know these two are capable of. Still, give the punch-heavier Nitewing the 1st and 3rd rounds for the win.
