Recap: No cake walk here as Th3 Saga, who’s been killing these 1-rounders of late, gets some tough comp in the form of Sully Seventeen, a rigid punching Jersey battler who came through with a gang of piercing (esp. liked the ‘You know what’s the difference between a cop and bullet?, both of them kill but only one’s getting fired!’ line) punchlines and hitting/righteous punchlines to make things close. But a handful of pedestrian bars here and there and a couple of wayward/dated angles on his opponent by Mr. Seventeen combined with the 4 Horseman capo dialing up a steady stream of staunch name flips, sturdy heat, boastful barbs and nasty punchlines, let’s you know that the Saga continues.
Verdict: Th3 Saga (W) 1-0
Favorite line: Th3 Saga – “Not just you, but I’ll bring your squad pain, because if Lebron only drops Seventeen at the Garden, it’s an off game!”
