Recap: From URL’s Born Legacy NW, Yung Griz certainly had to earn this one as opponent Mr. Biscuit’s patchwork of stinging 2-bar punchlines along with some feisty wordplay/personals allowed the Crucible 2 graduate to make his mark while keeping things close. Yet, for all of Biscuit’s verbal histrionics, the more condensed, rebuttal-spitting and versatile-punching Griz, bedazzling the crowd with everything from piercing punches to loaded gun lines to witty personals (mostly geared towards to his opponent’s choice of footwear) to fire set-ups/name flips/righteous bangers, does just enough to edge rounds 1 and 3 for the win.
Verdict: Yung Griz (W) 2-1
