Recap: Choosing to go first against a rebuttal/freestyle elite like Chef Trez seems to be putting yourself at a disadvantage. But having seen the brash wizardry of Skinny Man Bang against Swamp in the past, one can’t be too surprised. And with a boatload of aggressive punches, gritty wordplay and flexing gun bars, just as ge did versus Swamp, SMB kept it competitive (even edging round 2 here). However, even on a day that saw him surprisingly fail to recollect his bars midway through the 3rd round, Trez being Trez never loses control while sizing up the room to immediately switch to freestyle mode and with a gang of steely off-the-dome heat takes the deciding final round (after edging the 1st) for the win.
