Recap: From Hoc Rap Battle League, a surprising amount of witty personals from both battlers makes this 3-round Cortez vs. Snake Eyez even more entertaining. Yet, after the two split (had the heavier-punching Cortez taking round 1 before a harder-hitting and Spanglish-lit Snake took the 2nd), Tez’s continually fiery braggadocios lines, mocking personals and hard street rhymes in the final round added up to a gang of haymakers that coupled with a short and mostly pedestrian turn by Snake gives the Brooklyn capo the win.
Verdict: Cortez (W) 2-1
