Recap: In this 1-rounder from Showtime Battle Arena, the hard street rhymes/trap talk, blunt storytelling and gritty punches from Leeno Brown combined with a guttural cadence make for an impressive performance. However, thanks in part to his opponent rhyming twice as long as he did as well as a sublime rebuttal to start off his round that settled into a rich combo of charismatic personals,, rich name flips and hardbody (“I don’t give a fuck who in Sam’s club, I woulda pulled his card at the door!”) punchlines, T-Top does just enough to make this a debatable.
Verdict: TIE
Favorite line: Leeno Brown – “I come from the belly of the beast and selling crack was helping me feed it!”
