Recap: Seeing as after the 2nd round, this KOTD battle between Hollow Da Don and Charron turned into a freestyle (with surprise guest appearances by Ill Mac and Jin(!) battle, wasn’t sure that it warranted a recap. But with the first two rounds holding true to battle rap form, we’ll just call this one a tie. What with the more efficient and punch-heavy (“We know you as that cheapskate homie, oh boy, if I met in a metaverse he wouldn’t loan me a Doge coin!”) Hollow taking the opening round, before Charron returned the favor in round 2 in a bout dedicated to the late Pat Stay that was littered with plenty of wily personals, off-the-dome heat and syrupy punchlines.
Verdict: TIE
Favorite line: Charron – “See you telling Organik to call time, that’s insanity, the better the battle, the more pay-per-view buys, that’s reality, so what’s more imporant?, your pride or Pat’s family?!”
