Recap: A dope punchfest for the first couple of rounds with Charlie Clips delivering a gang of sizzling set-up/punchlines, witty barbs and fire wordplay/schemes to edge round one before Clips efficiency punch-wise dips a bit in round 2, thus making room for Rosenberg Raw’s bullish punches, artful boasting and hard street lines allow the PA vet to take the middle round and split things up going into the 3rd. There it’s Clips’ (who before the battle had decided not to freestyle) ability to turn it up and spout a highly personal turn rich-deep in hardbody disses, mocking darts and gritty truth-telling that when matched with a hitting at times, but overall pretty pedestrian turn by Raw, eventually gets the Harlem legend the win in this spirited 3-rounder from RBE.
