Recap: SMH. I’ll never understand battle rap hosts (esp. those who are battle rappers themselves) disrespecting the artform by talking through a battlerss round. Like, make it make sense. Either way, while the needless chit-chatter caused her to stop her 2nd round short and quit, E-Hart’s 1st and 3rd, in this 3-rounder from OSBL, filled to the brim with a bunch of stinging punchlines, heated wordplay/gun bars and raucous name flips, still gets her win over a gritty and solid at times, but mostly pedestrian Don Ladyii.
Verdict: E-Hart (W) 2-1
Favorite line: E-Hart – “This battle y’all should call me E. Corleone, ‘cz it’s lights out I’m killing the Don then I’m going home!”
