Recap: Geechi: “You should’ve fucked with me, I wouldn’t have said nothing1″…damn. Granted, not the first time we’ve seen battlers go at league-owners on stage to their face, but Gotti’s righteous, Aye Verb-inspired, personal-lit and crazy 3rd (i.e. classic) was defintely one for the books. That said, even in light of a trap talk-spazzing, storytelling rich, gritty punchline/struggle bar-spewing and at times personal scoring 3 rounds, Eazy The Block Captain (whose best rounds were actually the 2nd and 3rd’s) is just going to have to accept the ‘L’ here as during each round his more consistently punching and versatile flexing opp just did him one better. A confident Gotti staying on point throughout in front of n attentive Chrome 23, New Jersey crowd with a shitload of spitfire street raps, slick wordplay, gangly similes, witty punches, heartfelt ancedotes and wicked personals at both Eazy and a seemingly stunned Remy Ma to earn the 30 in a battle that more than lived up to its expectations.
Verdict: Geechi Gotti (W) 3-0
Favorite line: Geechi Gotti – “I do this shit for the haves and the have nots, when Pap punched you, we was all wondering if you didn’t have or have knots!”
