Recap: Can’t recall a year where so many top tier battle rappers entered the ring so often. The easiest answer being that with so many of them having already battled each other, they’ve run out of big name opponent’s to face, hence giving up-n-comers a shot. Well, if the latter is the case with Rum Nitty (“I just put in an order for some new guns, I wrote down a list, the connect from India, I got Real Sikh’s [six] plug…like a power strip!”) taking on CJA for 3 rounds here on iBattle, good for Nitty and great for CJA, who clearly took advantage of his opportunity. The Rochester, NY, battler using a bunch of rambunctious punches and boastful darts to score a debatable (got Nitty taking round 1 and CJA the 2nd, before a debatable 3rd) over a Nitty, who after a blazing opening round, couldn’t quite get back on his A-game in the following rounds despite a solid enough effort that kept him from receiving an upset.
Verdict: TIE
Favorite line: CJA – “Why would I waste bullets on this prick?, you are 5-foot-6, I won’t need it, RBE security, I got this big-ass gun for no reason!”
