Recap: Take away Glueazy surprisingly choking away his 2nd round and you have a fire battle between Glu and fellow Goonie squad member Ryda. Still for all the bout’s competitiveness, it’s Ryda who earned the most shine here, delivering a versatile palette of fiery self-deprecating darts, sizzling gun bars, witty personals, stinging punchlines/name flips and during a spitfire 3rd round, a host of flexing shots at his former Cave Gang team and even a couple of shots thrown Smack’s way for allegedly mishandling his battle rap career. And while Glu would also dish a boatload of flexing punchlines, witty/pointed personals and heated gun bars to keep things competitive in both a debatable 1st round and a fiery 3rd, Ryda’s standout performance throughout the bout would prove to be too much in the end.
Verdict: Ryda (W) 2-1
