Recap: As much as we talk about his gritty trap talk and syrupy angles, too often T-Top’s wit doesn’t get enough credit for him becoming a top tier mainstay. And indeed, in this URL Resolution 2 matchup against Charron (prepped on two weeks notice), the Bear’s funny bone and versatile approach would certainly help him earn a draw. Top, using a bunch of piercing set-ups, solid storytelling and hitting (“We need a classic fileld with content, it’s only gonna work if we both do it, this ain’t a Weekend at Bernie’s and I ain’t carrying no white boy this whole movie!”) punchlines to edge round 1, before a more consistently punch-lit, off-the-dome sharp, personal-crazy and witty as ever Charron took the 2nd round to tie things up going into the 3rd. The last round was just as entertaining and competitive as the first two with Top dishing some hilarious personals to go along with a gang of fiery punches, while an elongated and a bit topsy-turvy but still scoring Charron would deliver a multifaceted turn that with enough haymakers to quantify with his opponent and make this bout a tie.
