Recap: Not to get emotional here, but let’s not front like seeing Danny Myers pay homage to B. Magic’s battle career the way he did in that 3rd round wasn’t touching (and deserving) to say the least. Back to the battle, tho. While Danny had some dope rebuttals and spitfire punches here and there, a flow-challenged round 1 to go along with a Magic on top of his game in the two early rounds via a gang of rapid fire punchlines that killed when it came to set-ups, wordplay, metaphors and similes, would give the St. Louis vet (who also surprisingly pulled out a new slogan) the win in this Shots Fired Battle League 3-rounder, before a slightly more potent Danny edged the 3rd.
Verdict: B. Magic (W) 2-1
