Recap: While Chilla Jones versus Quban on OSBL can definitely be filed under those ‘Out of Nowhere’ matchups, this 3-rounder is still a fire battle nonethess. Indeed, a turned-up Quban would make his mark throughout the bout with a barrage of gritty punches (esp. in round 2 which he somehow edged after a dope turn by Chilla), graphic mayhem and hitting name flips. While Chilla was…well just Chiila, dishing a plethora of stinging gun bars, cold euphemisms, witty barbs/personals, sturdy name flips of his own, fly smiles and hardbody punchlines. Three competitive rounds provided by both battlers, it’s a slightly more condensed, haymaker-lit and consistently scoring Chilla who edges the 1st and 3rd round’s for the win.
