Recap: A.I. may frown on it, but watch any Tay Roc battle and you’ll witness just how much work that the Gun Bar King puts into practicing his rounds. What with Roc’s ability to run back his bars with ease, decipher and break them down them when necessary and jump right back into pockets with equal precision, shows you a man who’s serious about his craft. And as this blazing 3-rounder vs. Quban on OSBL shows us once again, no matter the tier of the competition, Roc never underestimates his opp’s either. Not that Quban is anyone’s slouch. The Maryland battle vet keeping it close for all three rounds here with a boatload of gritty punchlines, aggressive heat, syrupy set-ups and flippant personals/name flips. But ultimately, this was Roc’s show. The Gun Titles co-capo using a plethora of head-banging gun bars, flexing punchlines, versatile name flips, boastful barbs, witty anecdotes and sporty personals of his own to land a few more haymakers in rounds 1 and 2 for the win, before an equally potent 3rd on both sides makes for a debatable.
