Recap: Always an earnest tactician, in this competitive 3-rounder from Bullpen, it’s admiring to see John John Da Don flex with some sterling wordplay (esp. at the start of his 2nd and 3rd rounds) in this bout against 40 B.A.R.R.S. in what was an often punch-lit showing from both sides. Too bad for JJDD tho as from the jump the Boston vixen showed that she didn’t come to play. Ms. B.A.R.R.S. styling on her opp with a gang of opportunistic, but stellar personals (esp. in round 2), sizzling punchlines, sublime similes and righteous boasts/storytelling bars to take the 1st and 2nd rounds for the win before a debatable 3rd.
Verdict: 40 B.A.R.R.S. (W) 2-1
Favorite line: 40 B.A.R.R.S. – “I guarantee this dog will not see tomorrow, this veterinarian, I’m scaring him, his fans don’t want me to see the bull…they vegetarians!”
