Recap: From Chrome 23, a highly anticipated matchup with plenty of back-n-forth between the battlers beforehand, with 3 action-packed, brazenly personal and punchline-lit rounds, Eazy The Block Captain versus John John da Don lived up to the hype. Eazy (aka ‘The Trap Bar King’) consistently brought the heat throughout the bout, not only with a plethora of gritty trap talk, but also with a gang of hard-hitting/mocking personals, boastful barbs, some gutsy wordplay and stinging punchlines. While JJDD kept it competitive with a fierce pallette of dope schemes, fiery name flips, solid punches and a boatload of piercing personals. However, one too many pedestrian bars from JJDD combined with a roundhouse, haymaker-lit round 1 by Eazy would handily give the Block Captain the opener, before a more personal/righteous, but still sublime turn by Eazy in round 2 would also hand him round 2 for the win. Round 3, despite another crazy turn by Eazy, would go JJDD’s way as the Bullpen Battle League capo turned it up on the personal front in what altogether was a fire battle.
Verdict: Eazy The Block Captain (W) 2-1
