Recap: Proving himself able to handle the big stage, but not really really wilding out on the eccentric gun bars, punchlines and rebuttals like we’re used to seeing, a B+ overall Chef Trez still manages to out punch and edge a rambunctious throughout, but less potent for the first couple of rounds Shotgun Suge. And while the Jersey rapper, performance-heavy throughout with a nice dunk on the whole Cave Gang midway in the 2nd, was able to put forth enough consistent darts to make the 3rd round debatable, besides getting beat by his opponent’s more potent display of lyricism, Suge’s inability to take full advantage of his own angle’s and personals hurt him here as well.
Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Chef Trez – “He think he could kill with the post moves?!, he’s wilding, pull a box out, I’m rebounding, machete, Hack a Shaq like I keep fouling!”
