Recap: Surely, O-Zone Battles could’ve found a better opponent for the ‘American rapper’ Math Hoffa than Crome, who overplayed his angles, reached hard on too many bars and for the most part fell (“Just like you not paying child support, Math doesn’t add up”) flat with his personals–all of which even made Math wonder out loud how he ended up battling this guy. Math, who was a little lazy at times with the pen, still brought enough of a B-game floor (“[holds hands like long gun] Say everything you gotta say to me in front of this shotty, then ‘BOOM!!!’ I open Crome like I don’t fuck with Safari”) Crome with the wordplay, tickle the crowd’s funny bones with the jokes and overwhelmed his opponent with the fierce personals to score an easy 3-0.

Verdict: Math Hoffa (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Math Hoffa – “How the fuck could you not heat up?, you the biggest hole in the O-Zone!”

Dizaster defeats Crome

Recap: Way too many basic punches along with haphazard angles that left you puzzled, until a fiery and personal-lit (but elongated) final round, Crome does little to nothing to stand a chance against Dizaster’s raucous multi-syllables/schemes, neck-deep personals and witty punchlines over the course of 3 rounds. Indeed, when Crome finally did come alive in the 3rd, any chance of him salvaging a round was ruined by him dishing too much filler between the bars that actually hit, thus making the round a debatable.

Verdict: Dizaster (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Dizaster – “I’m back with the killer flow, I react you hit some crap, I’ll hit you back your minutes low!”

Arsonal defeats Crome

Synopsis: Who are all these “American rappers” who keep Crome in their mouth? Anyway, when asked who was the worst rappers he’s faced, Arsonal mentioned Illmac and this guy Crome. Funny that, because Crome actually wasn’t that bad here, esp. with the way he kept pointing out Arsonal’s sometimes racist fuckery in round 2 and pulled Ars’ time (and ‘G’) card in round 3. But despite choking in the 3rd round, Ars edged the first two with enough disrespectful lines (“Your ex bitch….she flat-chested with no ass, so you be humping what?, I’ll fuck that bitch in a jacuzzi full of suds and tell her now you got a bubble butt”) and better, consistent bars to edge it in the end.

Verdict: Arsonal (W) 2-1

Best line: Crome – “And I’m tired of you talking about Hollow da Don and how you chalked him out in Fight Klub, what’s the first and the second rule of Fight Klub?, ‘We do not talk about Fight Klub!'”
