Chef Trez defeats Da Example

Recap: From Universal Bars Battle League, against a solid effort from Da Example that was littered in persuasive drug talk and other violence-induced punches, Chef Trez flips out with a gang of gritty gun bars, flexing double entendres, some sporty off-the-dome heat and a boatload of piercing punchlines to handliy get the 30.

Verdict: Chef Trez (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Chef Trez – “Let him try it, drive-by, hop out with hella choppers, in front of his house with a stick, it’s a pressure washer!”

Qleen Paper defeats Da Example

Recap: Tight matchup between Qleen Paper and Da Example has them both dishing a variety of solid gun (QP: “With this strap I’ll throw ya brains back, it’s a difference between a reminisce!”) bars, fierce schemes, rich (DE: “I get all my money out the streets, I don’t fuck with Qleen [clean] Paper!”) metaphors and some nice personals. In the end tho, from seemingly wanting to impress against a big name like QP, Example’s elongated round turns out to be half-fierce and half-pretty average, leaving a more succinct QP with enough room to maneuver a win, even if he did ‘borrow’ that “The 9 kick back like you hit me first!” line from prez mafia.

Verdict: QP (Qleen Paper)

Favorite line: QP (Qleen Paper) – “Lawrence Fishburne, I jumped on my Deep Cover, with the strap, he turn Meance…’We supposed to be brothers!”

Tone Montana defeats Da Example

Recap: A first-round choke by da Example (who up to that point wasn’t spitting much more than average bars anyway) makes this an easy win for a consistently nice Tone Montana in this one-rounder from Jack City Battle League.

Verdict: Tone Montana (W) 1-0

Favorite line:  Tone Montana – “After I hit him, just pull out y’all camera’s….that’s how I pick a fight!”
