Recap: Yeah, Kapo Bravado was helped in the deciding 3rd (after the two split the first two rounds) a bit by opponent Shotgun Suge struggling with his flow and pretty much choking away his turn. But that doesn’t dismiss the fact that after a loud and gritty, but very unsubstantive opening round, Kapo would totally flipped the script and put forth a couple of dope turns in the 2nd and 3rd. The New Orleans, LA, battler upping his punch game and using a bunch of sizzling street darts, flexing punchlines/schemes and solid personals to edge each of the latter rounds for the win.

Verdict: Kapo Bravado (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Kapo Bravado – “They only got room for one man and that’s me, I was presented Shotgun and a nigga my size ain’t taking the back seat!”

B. Magic defeats Kapo Bravado

Recap: “So he a pimp.” LOL! Gotta love the battle crowd sometimes. Anyway, in this 1-rounder from Houston Bar Code, B. Magic’s consistent punching prowess in a way more condensed round proves to be enough to beat back a gritty, street-laced and mostly solid (he did succumb to a lot of that lyrical schmiral stuff in the latter half of his round), but elongated Kapo Bravado.

Verdict: B. Magic (W) 1-0

Favorite line: B. Magic – “Ya bitch turned from a real murder, she gave B the buns, I took that bitch to Trill burger!”

Arsonal defeats Kapo Bravado

Recap: From the New Udubb, in a 3-round battle littered with plenty of basic punches, but still competetive via a bunch of bold struggle bars, gritty street rhymes, aggressive trap talk, flexing gang lines and even an unnecessary (considering that he already had the round won) nifty tag-in from one of Kapo Bravado’s people’s in round 2. Yet on his way to a spirited comeback after losing round 1 and handily taking the middle round here versus Arsonal, Kapo (who also had some potent personals throughout the bout) somehow ventures into complete meltdown mode midway through his 3rd and with a trio of highly damaging slip-ups, ends up losing the deciding round and the battle.

Verdict: Arsonal (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Kapo Bravado – “My bars like a stripper real name, he gotta be a certain type of nigger to get it!”

T-Top defeats Kapo Bravado

Recap: T-Top’s facial expressions during battles can be hilarious at times. That said, against a gritty and pretty solid Kapo Bravado for URL’s Final Exams 2 card, The Bear unleashes the whole bag, styling on the Crucible alum with a wicked variety of fire set-up/punchlines, dope name flips, hard-hitting trap talk, righteous/witty personals, wily schemes and even a fierce couple of rebuttals to earn a 30 in what was still a competitive battle.

Verdict: T-Top (W) 3-0

Favorite line: T-Top – “We had drink by the liter, we ain’t never had to stress dope, just to get a prescription, we pretended we had strep throat, we took the paper in the pharmacy, walked in with our head low, we couldn’t read it but knew how to play it like a clef note!”

Ms. Hustle defeats Kapo Bravado

Recap: From Houston Bar Code’s NOME 5 card, arguably one of Ms. Hustle’s best rounds ever as the EFB vixen turns it up (bumps included) on a gritty/pretty solid, but ultimately overmatched Kaop Bravado with an aggressive variety of hard-hitting punchlines, crowd-rocking schemes, glistening gun bars, flexing boasts and stinging personals to score than enough haymakers and earn the win in this equally bullish and definitely personal 1-rounder.

Verdict: Ms. Hustle (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Ms. Hustle – “You lame too, that’s your vibe, for that snake shit, Spillz should make you step outside, you don’t sell ya nigga out for no bitch, that’s your guy, I’m only showing you what to look out for Spillz…like a ‘Wet Floor’ sign!”
