First Lady Flamez defeats Kausion

Recap: While Chrome 23’s visual aesthetics and stage presense have improved quite a bit since its birth, Remy Ma may want to work a little on controlling her crowd’s as big man with the shades on (presumably from Kausion’s side) was way too comfortable being all up in the women’s space (and in the camera) during this 3-rounder featuring Kausion versus First Lady Flamez. That aside, a fire matchup between two Virginian’s gets won by Flamez who with a plethora of fiery gun bars, some impeccible wordplay, a bunch of sturdy name flips and flexing/aggressive punchlines takes rounds 1 and 2 for the win over an oppoenent who while competing hard with her bag of gritty punches, piercing street rhymes and potent name flisp of her own, couldn’t (till the 3rd round, which was a debatable) keep up to Flamez when it came to haymakers of steady efficiency in the opening rounds.

Verdict: First Lady Flamez (W) 2-1

Favorite line: First Lady Flamez – “Silencer on a nina, we ’bout action, nothing gets vocalized, so when I look at this I’m sending shots, it’s like getting pregnant by ya side nigger during summertime…I hope it dies!”

QB (Black Diamond) defeats Kausion

Recap: Never one to keep it nice and timid, once again QB goes the total opposite route, using a gang of vicious/witty personals, steely gun bars, stinging name flips, solid sport bars/wordplay and hard-hitting schemes/punches to take all 3 rounds for the win in this RBE matchup versus a gritty and pretty solid overall, but simply overmatched Kausion.

Verdict: QB (W) 3-0

Favorite line: QB – “So how the fuck y’all gonna let her question me, when she ain’t got the answers?, up here looking like Swave Sevah if he had cancer!”

Kausion defeats Bonnie Godiva (Rematch)

Recap: From Chrome 23’s $25K tournament, Bonnie Godiva and Kausion meet up again for what probably was the ‘fastest rematch’ in battle rap history and for the most part this semi-final matchup is a goodie as both ladies brought a shitload of aggressive punches, fierce schemes, hard-hitting/ witty personals and flagrant gun bars to the bout. However with Kausion slightly out-punching and edging round 1 and a personal-lit Bonnie taking round 3, it comes down to the 2nd round which via a mid-round slip-up by Ms. Godiva coupled with a handful of griity haymakers by Kausion gave the latter the win.

Verdict: Kausion (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Kausion – “I’ll pistol-whip you till you see a bump, now you got a baby in ya face!”

Bonnie Godiva defeats Kausion

Recap: A dope, competitive 3-rounder from RBE sees up-n-comer Kausion use a barrage of steamy personals, aggressive (esp. that fire ‘peacock’ line in round 3) punchlines, boastful barbs and flagrant gun bars to stay in the fight despite a few dry spots here and there. But armed with a flexing arsenal of stinging freestyles, hitting name flips, witty personals, gritty wordplay and back-to-back-to-back hard-hitting punches of her own throughout the match, it’s the veteran Bonnie Godiva who earns the 30 for the win here.

Verdict: Bonnie Godiva (W) 3-0

Favorite line: Bonnie Godiva – “Listen Invisible Woman, it’s about time to be clear with yaself, like are you hearing yourself?, you burned me mean you buried yaself, I’ll put caution tape all around Kausion…have you wearing yourself!”
