Recap: The most likely point person in ‘What’s a choke?’ debates, overall Nu Jerzey Twork manages to out bar a mostly pedestrian (and admittedly drunk) Krillz, but not before choking away round 1 and almost choking again the deciding 3rd. Still, if not for a poor showing by his seemingly distracted opponent, Twork’s short-lived final round (albeit with a couple of hot bars) might’ve cost him this tune up before his next battle with JC.

Verdict: Nu Jerzey Twork (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Nu Jerzey Twork – “The gun dumping, if he tell you even a bit of my challenge then son fronting, my only competition was burgers…like The Chum Bucket!”

Krillz defeats Fettuccine20

Recap: After New Jersey’s Krillz dishes some hot (“So go ahead nigga, pop shit, I give a fuck what you got in store, I’ll [waves are to make like a punch] steal fettuccine, I’m trying to shoplift!”) punches to easily take round one, a more fiery (“Look at you, trying to figure out if I’m a really split ya shit, you fucking right [write] I [a] will, then ya fam gonna have to split ya shit!”) Fettuccine20 is well on his way his way to evening things up before he surprising slips-up twice and eventually chokes in round 2. From there, all that’s left is saving himself from an embarrassing 3-0, which Fetticcine manages to do with a more solid and consistent last round.

Verdict: Krillz (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Krillz – “Fuck the jokes, ‘cuz I’ll put these hands to ya face, like Macaulay Culkin!”

Showoff defeats Krillz

Recap: Krillz had some hot (“Unlike you, I ain’t a singer or a dancer, I’m a rapper nigga, but I will hit the milly rock…and then slap a nigga!”) lines, especially in a fiery 2nd round that allowed him to come from behind and gain a split going into the 3rd. But too many predictable bars from the light-skin dude in the deciding round, along with a way more wordplay-heavy and resilient (“It’s 2016 nigga, who fighting?, fuck punch drunk, I’ll dump him with a K, the K that I’m throwing up, lick a shot, buck it in his face, Punch. Drunk. Throw-up  Lick a Shot. Bucket in his Face!”) Showoff allowed for Brooklyn to one-up Jersey here.

Verdict: Showoff (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Showoff- “Oh, you thought I’d take you light, here’s bars that you don’t deserve, poetry, watch I get to snapping after these spoken words!”
