Swamp defeats Mr Bey

Recap: His simple, yet contagious Nickelodeon raps may have had the crowd laughing, but I’m sure that if and when O Solo sees this battle, Mr Bey will have gained a fan and that what’s most important. That said, Swamp all the way in this 1-sided, 1 round Pyrexx Battle League battle as the South Carolina battler gets extra busy with a consistent variety of witty barbs, stinging name flips, blazing gun bars and hard-hitting punches on his way to an easy vic.

Verdict: Swamp (W) 1-0

Favorite line: Swamp – “Fuck you, my girl made me change my number the minute you called and ‘Bey’ [bae] popped up!”

Mack Mel defeats Mr. Bey

Recap: As seen here, there’s a big difference between battle rapping and rapping on a beat. With that said, Mack Mel’s more cohesive punches/gun bars make for a clean win over the rapid flow of Mr. Bey which might’ve been better served in a booth.
