Recap: From Body Bag Battles, a pretty good punchfest here between Danny Myers and Mr. Biscuit ends up going the Bar God’s way as despite his opponent taking it up a notch (after getting handily beat in round 1) in both of the latter rounds with some added wit and more sizzling punches, Danny’s continuously spicy punch game, sublime off-the-dome heat and exquisite name flips make the difference and gets him round 3 for the win after a debatable 2nd.

Verdict: Danny Myers (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Danny Myers – “I should drop this man, rudely, with these knuckles I ended a few beefs, but y’all already know what comes with a Biscuit…a 2 piece!”

Quantum Physics defeats Mr. Biscuit

Recap: In a competitive 3-rounder from Gates of the Garden that was dominated by spicy wordplay/punches/personals, glad-handing and a Mr. Biscuit trying too hard at times to imitate his opponent, the more condensed, witty and freestyle/rebuttal-friendly Quantum Physics does just enough to edge rounds 1 and 3 for the win.

Verdict: Quantum Physics (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Quantum Physics – “You get friend-zoned, I get yunno, fuck buddy!”

Yung Griz defeats Mr. Biscuit

Recap: From URL’s Born Legacy NW, Yung Griz certainly had to earn this one as opponent Mr. Biscuit’s patchwork of stinging 2-bar punchlines along with some feisty wordplay/personals allowed the Crucible 2 graduate to make his mark while keeping things close. Yet, for all of Biscuit’s verbal histrionics, the more condensed, rebuttal-spitting and versatile-punching Griz, bedazzling the crowd with everything from piercing punches to loaded gun lines to witty personals (mostly geared towards to his opponent’s choice of footwear) to fire set-ups/name flips/righteous bangers, does just enough to edge rounds 1 and 3 for the win.

Verdict: Yung Griz (W) 2-1

Favorite line: Yung Griz – “Popeyes! Biscuit! He gettin’ tired of the bars, till it’s Biscuit on a shirt like, ‘I ate mine in the car!'”
