Recap: Organyzed Cryme Battle League, which has been putting out some fierce 1-rounders of late, brings you another one here with T-Top facing off against rising newcomer R. Payso. A competitive battle that saw the veteran Top get busy with a gang of gritty punches, charismatic trap talk and rigid (“I don’t give a fuck about Pay so I’ll put the .4 in money!”) set-ups/personals/name flips. However, showing the crowd that he could hold his own against the best of them, a steely, but earnest Payso would spout a fiery stream of flexing street missives, solid wordplay, boastful barbs and hardbody name flips/punchlines to make this one a debatable.
Verdict: Debatable
Favorite line: R. Patso – “This bulldog got a kick back, it’ll fuck up a get-together and kick back!”
