Recap: In a raucous and competitive 3-rounder from We Go Hard littered with a gang of gritty punchlines and mocking/witty personals, a more steady-flowing and sly metaphor/name flip slinging Sonny, after getting edged in round 1, takes both of the latter rounds (that 2nd was superb) to comeback and pull off the win over Stumbles.
Verdict: Sonny (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Sonny – “If I lik a shot, he gonna be doing way than stumbling!”
Recap: Typical We Go Hard battle with its gritty, aggressive punches, brash deliveries, gripping street missives and hardbody personal inclines gets dressed up as a PG and features WGH vets Sonny and True Indeed going at it for 3 competitive rounds with the name flip spazzing and slightly more versatile overall True spouting more than enough heat to take all 3 rounds for the 30.
Verdict: True Indeed (W) 3-0
Favorite line: True Indeed – “I spend all day waiting, drop the addy, wherever Sonny [sunny] at…it’s a vacation!”
Recap: Fire PG bout between Sonny and Hollaluyah Jones gets edged by the former who’s rich combo of fiery punchlines, real street pontifications, flexing mayhem and cleaner flow does just enough to edge the deciding 3rd round (after two debatable’s) over a witty, performance-stunting and name flip/punch-savvy Hollaluyah Jones.
Verdict: Sonny (W) 2-1
Favorite line: Sonny – “It’s on sight, the crowd don’t even know which ratchet I’m walking in with…it’s prom night!”
Recap: ‘I’m not your friend!’, Apparently so, as Sonny uses some stinging personals, fiery gun bars and spitfire punchlines to beat a somewhat subdued and mostly average (for him anyway) Reepah Rell, thus pulling off a mild upset in this one-rounder from We Go Hard.
Verdict: Sonny (W) 1-0
Favorite line: Sonny – “I walk around with a .30 tho, been killing nigga’s with the same gun for years, so the burner gotta build up like a dirty stove!”
